The Troy Recreation Center is a state-of-the-art community and recreation center that includes two full-court gymnasiums for basketball and volleyball, two racquetball courts, a fully equipped gymnastics area, and a four-lane indoor pool and an eight-lane outdoor pool (both with zero-depth entries) — plus the city’s only outdoor sprayground. A curtain divider allows the gym to be used for banquets, meetings, receptions and other special events.

The facility also has two locker rooms and a family locker area, administrative and maintenance offices, a teen center and a food court, multipurpose rooms and outdoor rest rooms. A mezzaninelevel 1⁄8-mile running track encircles the basketball courts and indoor pool.

Sited next to the Troy Sportsplex, which hosts several softball and baseball tournaments, the Troy Recreation Center serves as a destination point for sports and recreation in the community.
