Hockey Canada Headquarters was designed to promote the organization’s goals of attracting top talent and keeping all members of the organization motivated.

The headquarters includes two components: the administrative offices located on the second level of the new Athletic and Ice Complex Office Tower at Canada Olympic Park, and the Event Level located adjacent to the ice surface of the International Arena.

The Event Level is a suite of spaces that tie into Hockey Canada’s mandate to lead, develop and promote positive hockey experiences. A dramatic entrance, complete with lighting and display monitors, transports visitors into the Hockey Shrine, a showpiece for Canadian achievements in hockey. The space serves, first and foremost, as a player lounge to facilitate downtime for athletes while simultaneously inspiring and motivating. The Shrine is also used as a gathering place that can host either formal or informal events, as well as media functions.

Two identical dressing rooms are located on either side of the Shrine, and the space has been finished to an NHL standard in order to attract the most gifted athletes to Hockey Canada programs. Extensive multimedia and training tools — such as a video classroom, interactive whiteboards, and media and interview portals — also are part of the new facility.
