The Green Bay Packers are soliciting $3 million to build a third locker room to support participants of non-Packer events at hosted at historic Lambeau Field.

As it stands, when two teams other than the Packers play at Lambeau Field, one team uses the stadium's visitor locker room, while the other team uses a temporary locker room because the Packers use their locker room year-round.

Documents obtained by Fox 11 framed the state of the situation as follows:

"The Green Bay Packers are in the process of soliciting bids to construct a third locker room. This locker room will be located near the media dining hall on top of our current facilities offices/shop on the lower level. When hosting previous college football and soccer matches the club utilized the players gym as a locker room. The club is currently utilizing that gym space as temporary offices until approximately January of 2025 when the office renovation project will be complete. The players gym will eventually be converted to additional team space after 2025 (The club is still determining how that space will be utilized). The gym will no longer be able to host third party events.

The Green Bay-Brown County Professional Football Stadium District Board meets at 2 p.m. Monday.
