SERVING FAMILIES
The new Eagle Lakes Aquatic Facility serves families in East Naples with a series of aquatic amenities that cater to several age groups with the primary focus of learning to swim and getting children exposed to water. Older children can enjoy the family pool, with its zero-depth entry and water toys. Teenagers and adults can have their thrills with the dual water-slide tower, and adults and advanced swimmers can take advantage of the lap pool that also serves as the community's competition arena.

SUPERIOR ADVANTAGES
Several design choices helped save money for this publicly funded project. One example was the use of slide runouts instead of having the slides empty into a stand-alone pool. The specialty water features on both the toddler pool and the family pool, the lap pool's geothermal heating system, the UV sterilization and filtration, and the stainless steel play equipment all combined to this a unique project with some superior advantages: sustainability, long-term cost-savings, and ease of operation.
