Paragon starting platform tops, the most important part of the starting platform for competitive swimmers, are made from solid, high-density, UV inhibited polypropylene with a cross-grooved, non-skid sand finish. The cross-grooved pattern enhances water drainage, crucial to a solid start. Paragonís superior starting platform pedestals are fabricated as a single weld of high grade certified T304L stainless steel.
