University of Rhode Island - Anna Fascitelli Fitness + Wellness Center

This project is an adaptive re-use of a mid-century modern dining hall re-imagined and refreshed to transform it into a Wellness Center. The cantilevered entrance and new glass volumes update the building image to provide a welcoming and open environment that promotes the programs within to the campus community. The building received the Gold Design Award from Rhode Island Monthly in 2015. It also achieved LEED-Gold certification.
