Planet Fitness is putting its muscle behind a gym in Detroit (Mich.) aimed squarely at kids.
According to the Detroit Free Press, the Boys and Girls Club of Southeastern Michigan has partnered with Planet Fitness to build a “judgement-free zone” and non-intimidating exercise environment within the newly opened Lloyd H. Diehl Detroit club.
"The brand new fitness facility was built by local Planet Fitness staff and will provide teens the ability to work out in a space that is free of judgement and filled with encouragement," stated a news release on the project.
The gym is part of Planet Fitness's national initiative, The Judgement Free Generation, which aims to spread kindness and end bullying.
