Northwestern State University unveiled plans for a new $3.4 million strength and conditioning center. Toyota Stadium, home of MLSās FC Dallas, the National Soccer Hall of Fame and the FCS National Championship game, has undergone a $58 million renovation. Michigan State University announced that it would install lights at its baseball and softball fields ahead of the upcoming 2019 season. McLane Stadium at Kobs Field and Secchia Stadium will see LED lighting similar to what exists at Spartan Stadium. The move will make MSUās diamond sports programs the first in the Big Ten with this kind of lighting. ā MSUSpartans.com

The City of Louisville, Colo., is set to open a newly renovated recreation center. The $32 million project included expanding the facility by 45,000 square feet, adding a new lap pool, a leisure pool with a lazy river, new fitness rooms, an open weightlifting area, a turf field house and a child care center. The facility has been opened in phases, with the aquatics area slated to open this weekend. A grand opening for the whole facility is scheduled for January 26. ā Daily Camera
The City of Winnipeg reopened the Pan Am Pool after the facility underwent a $3.42 million renovation. The project included replacing the old ceiling with a new acoustic one, asbestos removal, replacing the facilityās audio system and installing a new lighting upgrade. ā Winnipeg Sun
