The La Porte (Texas) ISD Board of Trustees have begun work on the site of Bulldog Stadium and Bulldog Development Center.
The new Bulldog Stadium, which will sit on the site of the previous facility that was demolished in August 2023, will include enhanced accessibility features.
An expanded track will enable La Porte ISD to host UIL-sanctioned track meets, and an observation deck will be used for marching band contests. [KRIV-TV]

Following a two-year hold due to court proceedings, a project to install permanent lights and other improvements at a high school stadium in Monterey, Calif., is moving forward after Monterey Peninsula Unified School District board voted unanimously last week to approve the finalized environmental impact report. The project will now be put out to bid.
The project will also include a brand new press box, visitors stands, and a brand new multi-use complex with a strength and conditioning center in the outfield.
The bidding process is expected to wrap up within the next two months and there’s an estimated project time of one year. [KSBW-TV]
