The pro soccer team based in Jacksonville, Fla. — the Armada — will soon begin work on a new soccer stadium

The facility will be a state-of-the-art downtown stadium, with space for team operations and a co-working space anchored by LPT Realty.

Renderings show a stadium with seating on four sides. Two of the sides have two-level covered tiers. There are lower, uncovered seating areas along the other two sides.

The City of Spartanburg, S.C., said the Design Review Board recently approved the design for the baseball stadium that's part of the planned $425 million baseball district coming to the downtown area.

Officials broke ground on the new stadium last fall.

According to the approved designs, the stadium will hold over 3,500 seats and sit on 14.5 acres.

The Fifth Third Bank Baseball Stadium will be the home of a new baseball team, an affiliate of the Texas Rangers, and is expected to open in 2025.
