Michigan State University rowing held an open house last weekend for the newly renovated Rowing Training Center located on Grand River Park in Lansing, Mich.
The center has a brand-new team locker room, indoor training space and staff offices.
The new facility includes a first-time space in which the entire team of 75-plus student-athletes can train indoors at once on erg machines.
In the locker room there are 80 full-sized lockers, a bathroom with sufficient showers, restrooms, sinks and a dressing space
Crews and officials in Wenatchee, Wash., are getting ready to celebrate the start construction on a new prep softball stadium next month.
The Wenatchee School District announced a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Wenatchee High School Girls Varsity Softball Stadium on May 9 at Triangle Park.
Halme Construction has been selected to lead the project, which is slated for completion by August 2024.
Construction will officially begin on April 22.
The new stadium comes as a resolution to a Title IX complaint previously filed against the district, highlighting the need for equal facilities for all student athletes.
