Big additions might be on the table for Frisco’s Toyota Stadium, home of Major League Soccer club FC Dallas.
Expanding premium suites and club areas at the sports venue is a key component of a new filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The filing also includes new broadcast and press working space set to meet MLS guidelines and sports lighting that would be incorporated into a new canopy system.

The final phase of a three-year, $44 million upgrade to Grand Blanc (MIch.) High School’s new athletic facility is now complete.
District officials cut the ribbon on the new Frank Thomas Track and multi-use field during a reveal event on May 28.
The third phase of the project included Frank Thomas Field, a Track & Field Facility, and turf softball and baseball fields.
The renovated Grand Blanc Athletic Complex stems from the $87-million bond passed in May 2020. This portion of the athletic complex was approximately $8 million, Director of Operations Jeff Cushman said. [MLive.com]
The Fairborn (Ohio) City School District posted photos on social media showing high school football players touching the Skyhawk upon entering the playing surface at Alumni Field.
The recently completed new field acknowledges the school’s history, honoring the Flyers and Vikings. The district will host an open house and ribbon cutting on July 17 from 4 p.m.-7 p.m.
Their first home game of the 2024 season is scheduled for Sept. 6 against West Carrollton. [WHIO]
