The Los Angeles Dodgers are in the process of completing significant renovations to Level One of Dodger Stadium, an area that includes the home clubhouse, as they continue to upgrade and modernize one of the most iconic ballparks in baseball.

Construction will be completed in time for the start of the Dodgers’ 2025 season, the team said.

First opening its doors in 1962, Dodger Stadium stands as the third-oldest stadium in MLB and sixth-oldest in the United States. As such, it has an extensive history of very successful renovations that has brought the stadium into the modern age.

Many of the changes and additions beloved by patrons of Dodger Stadium have occurred in the past 12 years under the Guggenheim Baseball Management group. [Dodger Blue]

New documents show renderings for a decade-long project on the Las Vegas Strip.

All Net Arena renderings by Steelman Partners were submitted to the Clark County Planning Commission.

The arena will be built on a 27-acre site at 2601 S. Las Vegas Blvd., between the Fontainebleau and the Sahara Las Vegas. The project first broke ground in 2013.

With the renderings, FOX5 also obtained a justification letter detailing the resort’s possible amenities:

  • 3 high-rise towers housing 2,605 hotel and condo units
  • 6,000-seat theater
  • 18,000-seat multipurpose arena
  • Convention space
  • “Podium” containing casino and gaming facilities, retail and food and beverage spaces, pool and recreational areas, spa and health club facilities,
  • “Digital Concourse” described as the “entertainment attraction corridor”
  • A parking garage with both basement and above-ground parking [KVVU-TV]

In the original plans for Angeline Academy of Innovation, Pasco County’s newest magnet school that opened in 2023, there was never going to be athletics — just like its sister schools: Kirkland Ranch Academy of Innovation in Wesley Chapel and Wendell Krinn Technical in New Port Richey.

But all that changed once Pasco County Schools announced Angeline Academy of Innovation would come to Land O’ Lakes, and parents, and even potential students, did, indeed, want the option of playing school-sanctioned sports.

That change, however, said retiring Superintendent Kurt Browning, ended up being fortuitous and created the school district's latest state-of-the-art facility.
