Major League Baseball's Athletics have released updated renderings with more specific details about their new ballpark project on the Las Vegas strip, located on the former site of the Tropicana.
The new images, which were presented during a Las Vegas Stadium Authority meeting at the Las Vegas Convention Center, include features that were unaddressed in previous renderings, such as home and visitor bullpens stacked together just beyond the left-field wall, as well as shortened foul territory that would allow for the closest seats to the field of any Major League stadium. After months of construction and years of planning, Seton Hall’s new Basketball Performance Center is preparing to open its doors.
On Feb. 17, SHU’s men’s basketball Instagram account posted a video that gave the university community a first look at the performance center. This sneak peek highlighted the new amenities that the team will be able to utilize.
These amenities include a new basketball court, a modern strength and conditioning area, a film room, and more, according to a description of the facility on the SHU website.
Many former players commented on the post saying they’re ready to visit, like Al-Amir Dawes, who was named the National Invitation Tournament’s (NIT’s) Most Outstanding Player after SHU’s tournament win last season. [The Setonian]

Work is officially underway at Campbell High School for a new athletics facility.
Local lawmakers, many of whom are Campbell alums, along with school faculty and students were on hand Thursday morning for the official blessing for the Sabers' new additions to the athletics department.
This marks the second phase of renovations after the installation of artificial track and turf on the football field two years ago.
This next wave includes new boys and girls locker rooms, a press box, and bleachers for the stadium along with new lights. [HawaiiNewsNow]
