The Baltimore City Recreation and Parks Department, alongside Mayor Brandon Scott and other city officials, held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the brand-new Coldstream Aquatics Center in Northeast Baltimore Wednesday.
"We are now opening this new fabulous aquatic center in a neighborhood that had a pool that they didn't think (was) good enough for us back in the day. (A pool) that they had a metal fence inside of," said Scott. "But those days are long gone for Baltimore City and Rec and Parks. We will continue to invest in our facilities to make sure that they get the same standard they would get in any suburban, or anywhere else, in the country."

Missouri Governor Signs Bill to Create Clay County Sports Complex Authority
Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe signed into law a bill that allows Clay County to create a Sports Complex Authority. The governor was surrounded by local and state leaders at Chappell’s, a well-known sports bar and museum in North Kansas City.
