Louisiana Athletics Opens Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium Transformation for 2025 Season

Louisiana Athletics unveils the transformational renovations on the west side of Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium. The $65 million project, designed by DLR Group in conjunction with AQ Studios, is the most significant upgrade to the facility since it opened in 1971. The improvements are highlighted by new premium experiences, enhanced seating in the west bowl, and a modernized concession experience.

“Our team worked to design a space that ushers in a reinvented gameday experience at Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium,” said AQ Studios and DLR Group in a joint statement. “The new west bowl enhances what was already a great college football venue. The impact of the new premium seating offerings and new concourse delivers top-tier amenities, gameday atmosphere, circulation, restrooms, and concessions to every Ragin’ Cajun fan."

The new facility creates an elite gameday atmosphere for Ragin’ Cajun fans. The new west side features 34 suites, 40 loge boxes, 524 club seats, an indoor club, five new chairback sections in the lower west bowl, and enhanced amenities for all fans with a total capacity of over 30,000. These premium spaces create a first-class gameday experience and provide opportunities for UL and its partners to host premium events throughout the year.

$4 Million Baseball Complex Renovation Reaches Phase One Completion in Jamestown

The historic home of Jamestown baseball is in the process of being transformed, and a milestone in the renovation process has been reached. The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce joined local officials to celebrate the grand opening of the new Gould Family Field at the Al Boelke Baseball Complex. The ribbon cutting marks completion of phase one in a multi-year, $4 million renovation transforming Jamestown’s longtime baseball home into a modern facility.

The upgrades include two new fields with turf infields, updated concessions and restrooms, paved walkways, and expanded parking. The field will host Babe Ruth-level tournaments drawing teams from across North Dakota and beyond.

The project received a $911,100 state grant plus local donations. While phase one is complete, fundraising continues for phases two and three, which will add more fields and batting cages. For more information, contact Jamestown Parks and Recreation at 701-252-3982.
