
Ravens Unveil Phase II of M&T Bank Stadium Renovations
The new bells and whistles at M&T Bank Stadium are ready for Sunday.
On Tuesday, the Ravens gave reporters a tour of the phase two renovations inside M&T Bank Stadium ahead of the Ravens' home opener against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, including new clubs, a new retail location, and stadium-wide enhancements.
Construction began the day after the Ravens' wild-card playoff win over the Steelers on Jan. 11 and is wrapping up just eight months later.
Saginaw United High School Hosting Ribbon Cutting for New Football Stadium
In celebration of Saginaw United’s first football game played in their new stadium, the high school is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The ribbon cutting for the brand-new field house and football stadium takes place on Oct. 3 at 5:30 p.m.
The event is open to the public.
It will usher in the very first homecoming football game being played in the stadium as Saginaw United hosts Bay City Central. It will also feature a short program, refreshments, and a first look at the new facilities.
$15M Pickleball Facility Proposed in North Raleigh
A new $15 million pickleball facility could be coming to north Raleigh.
Chris Mitscherlich submitted a rezoning request for the 7-acre warehouse he owns at 2806 Gresham Lake Road. The warehouse currently houses "The Underground," which has two pickleball courts, and a recovery cave with a sauna and cold plunge.
The new facility would include more than 40 pickleball courts, sand volleyball and badminton courts, according to the rezoning request. It would open in 2026.
