Construction has begun on the multi-use stadium that will be home to the Greenville Triumph and Greenville Liberty soccer clubs at Mauldin’s BridgeWay Station, the clubs announced Sept. 23.

Plans for the new stadium at the signature mixed-use development along Interstate 385 were announced in October 2024. Funding is through a public/private partnership between Greenville Pro Soccer LLC, the parent company of the Greenville Triumph and Greenville Liberty; the city of Mauldin; the state of South Carolina; and Hughes Investments, the developer of BridgeWay Station.

Project funding to this point includes:

Hillsboro Hops' Stadium Goes Beyond Baseball

When the Hillsboro Hops take the field next spring, they'll debut a $150 million stadium built for more than baseball.

What they're saying: "This is a big time sports town, so we didn't want to build just a minor league venue," Hops president and general manager K.L. Wombacher told the Portland Business Journal earlier this year.

Between the lines: The team began planning in 2020 after Major League Baseball mandated new stadium standards for its affiliates.

What's inside: The new stadium will seat 6,000 for ballgames and up to 7,000 for concerts.
