Officials at FedEx Field say it wasn’t sewage but rain water that poured down into the lower stands during the Washington Football Teams home-opening loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Fans seated in the area, however, were less than sure of management’s official line.
In videos posted online, fans can be heard saying the deluge streaming down from the upper seating areas was sewage.
