Last month, Athletic Business introduced our readers to the newest trend hitting sports facilities around North America: venues turning their playing surfaces into a 3-D video displays. The technology behind it is incredible, as are the final results.
While our article focused mainly on basketball courts, we learned the projection technology could just as easily be applied to ice rinks. Thanks to the Halifax Mooseheads of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, we now have proof. This video was posted Tuesday and has since gone viral.
