UCF to Install End Zone Cabana Suites

The University of Central Florida is taking a recent trend in football stadiums, on-field cabanas or suites, to the next level by selling access to field-level suites just behind the end zones, offering an unobstructed view of the field.

ESPN’s Darren Rovell reports that the UCF cabana suites are selling for $22,000 each for a season. The suites include tickets and parking passes for 12, as well as food and access to high-end bathrooms.

UCF associate athletics director Andy Seeley told ESPN that the cabanas were built in response to a demand for more premium seating among fans. The cabanas expand premium seating offerings without the need to renovate the existing seating bowl.

“We had a waiting list for suites and we sold out of club seats and that led us to do a new club area last year,” he said. “But there was future interest from our market in more premium space, so we created more.”

To date, nine of the available 18 cabanas have been sold for the 2017 season.
