The Oakland A’s released new renderings of a proposed new ballpark this week. The new images were released as the Port of Oakland commissioners voted to allow the team to begin what will be a years-long process of preparing an environmental impact report for the potential building site. Plans call for a 35,000-seat venue that will include housing and retail development, about six miles from the team’s current home at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. — Reuters
