Georgia Southern University unveiled a new court design for Hanner Fieldhouse, home of the school’s volleyball and basketball programs. The new design was selected based on input from fans. — GSEagles.com

Montana State University announced plans to partner with Bozeman Health to build a clinic inside the Bobcat Athletic Complex, which is currently under construction. The inclusion of the clinic adds 5,500 square feet of space to the facility, and will serve student-athletes and coaches, as well as university faculty and staff. — MSUBobcats.com

Shelby (N.C.) High School recently unveiled renderings for a new athletic complex. The proposed facility, by architecture firm Holland & Hamrick, will be named the Donald G. Dedmon Athletic Complex. Plans call for an expanded weight room area, turf space and athletic training spaces. The project is expected to cost approximately $1.5 million. — Kinston.com

Ashland University has raised funds for a new indoor athletics and activities center. The 125,000-square-foot Niss Athletic Center includes an 80-yard turf field, a 300-meter six-lane track and an eight-lane sprint track, as well as field jump and throwing areas and batting cages. The facility would also be utilized for events, and by the university band. The project is expected to be completed late in the spring of 2021. — news.ashland.edu
