A Florida man was arrested Sunday, after being discovered inside Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg, home of the Tampa Bay Rowdies soccer team.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, Daniel Neja was believed to have been living in a luxury suite at the stadium since July 26, and was only discovered when a cleaning crew discovered razors, shaving cream and blankets piled in in the room he had been staying in. A police spokesperson said that cleaning crews had not been to the area in some time, because it was believed to have been empty and new pandemic protocols had limited cleaning activity.

Surveillance footage found that Neja had been to the stadium merchandise store, and was wearing team clothing and eating found food.

How Neja managed to enter the stadium is unclear, but a police spokesperson told the Tampa Bay Times that officers suspect he was able to blend in with a cleaning crew to find his way inside.

Neja was charged with burglary and with resisting an officer without violence. An arrest report places the value of the stolen merchandise at $1,043, and the beverages he consumed at about $250.
