After being touted as the eighth wonder of the world, the massive video board at SoFi Stadium — home of the NFL's Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers — failed entirely.
During a Saturday matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Chargers, the video board went dark.
SoFi' Stadium's official Twitter account explained that there were "technical difficulties" with the video board.
“Shortly before kickoff, we experienced an outage with our internal broadcast system. We are resetting and expect all systems to be up and running shortly,” the tweet said.
It took until the third quarter for SoFI operators to get the board back up and running.
According to the Daily Snark, the video board stretches 120 yards, weighs 2.2 million pounds, contains 70,000 square feet of digital LED, and houses 268 speakers.
