Everything from domed football stadiums to floating aircraft carriers have accommodated college basketball, and this Friday, American Family Field, home of MLB's Milwaukee Brewers, will welcome a University of Wisconsin basketball double-header.
In what is being billed as the Brew City Battle, both the Badgers women's and men's teams will travel the 80 miles east to play on a temporary court stretching across AmFam's infield, with the women hosting Kansas State at 3:30 p.m. and the men playing Stanford at 6:30. Tickets range in price from $19 club-level seats to $179 courtside seats that include complementary food and open bar. The Brewers have even set aside a section for UW students.
