Colorado State will sell alcohol throughout Moby Arena during sporting events, beginning with the start of the 2023-24 basketball season.
According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan, alcohol sales and consumption had previously been limited to the FNBO Loft on the west concourse. The arrangement typically led to long lines, with fans frustrated that they were missing part of the game on the court.

According to the Fort Collins Coloradoan, alcohol sales and consumption had previously been limited to the FNBO Loft on the west concourse. The arrangement typically led to long lines, with fans frustrated that they were missing part of the game on the court.
Colorado State athletic director Joe Parker announced the move in a newsletter.
Parker's message said the Loft "will continue to have the broadest menu selection, but all concession stands will have beer and wine available to purchase." Those beverages can also be taken back to the seats.
The first competitive game of the 2023-24 season at Moby with the new alcohol rules will be the season opener for the volleyball team on Aug. 25 against Kentucky.
