The Washington Commanders this season opened the first in-stadium NFL sportsbook at FedEx Field, with more teams expected to follow, and the league is hoping to push a message of responsible gambling with the new stadium addition.

The Fanatics Sportsbook is a 5,000-square-foot betting facility with eight betting windows and 21 self-service betting kiosks. A lounge area features two giant LED screens and 38 high-definition televisions to watch the day's games.

The Fanatics Sportsbook at FedExField will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. ET. Patrons can access the sportsbook from its own entrance located at Gate H. Guests should park in lot Purple H at Garrett Morgan Boulevard and FedEx Way. Patrons must be 21 to enter.

The Commanders' sportsbook comes after NFL owners voted back in March to allow in-stadium betting.

MGM Resorts International and BetMGM announced on September 9 that they are launching a responsible gaming campaign at nine NFL stadiums, promoting their responsible gaming program GameSense during the season.

GameSense will be promoted at the following stadiums:

  • Acrisure Stadium (Pittsburgh Steelers)
  • Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas Raiders)
  • Empower Field at Mile High (Denver Broncos)
  • Ford Field (Detroit Lions)
  • GHEA Field at Arrowhead Stadium (Kansas City Chiefs)
  • M&T Bank Stadium (Baltimore Ravens)
  • MetLife Stadium (New York Jets)
  • Nissan Stadium (Tennessee Titans)
  • State Farm Stadium (Arizona Cardinals)
