The Los Angeles Clippers are moving ahead with a plan to display basketball jerseys from high schools across the state of California in the team's $2 billion Inuit Dome arena when it opens in August.

According to the local NBC affiliate, the team is looking to pay homage to California's rich history of youth basketball.

In a post on X, the team asked all high schools to send in their team's jersey for display in the new facility. The website includes a form for school officials to fill out and sign, including an optional box on fun facts about the respective school.

There's also a box to check that reads: "Are you interested in having your High School team play a game at Intuit Dome?"

It's not yet known how or where exactly the jerseys will be displayed within the arena.
