Wichita State University has reimagined several aspects of the fan experience at Charles Koch Arena, and the Shockers are unveiling the improvements for the 2025-26 men’s and women’s basketball season.

According to Go Shockers, WSU athletics’ upgrades aimed at improving accessibility and affordability for fans.

Food and beverage changes, including a new happy hour at Charles Koch Arena, student meal plan access at concessions and expanded menus, are all a part of the upgrades. Now, fans can enjoy happy hour from the time doors open until just before tip-off. Students may use meal plans and dining dollars to purchase concessions and some items may be available for free for students with eligible meal plans.

The Shockers are also introducing seasonal concessions and souvenir cups as a part of the expanded concessions lineup.

Charles Koch Arena has also upgraded ticketing and mobile app entry for gameday experiences. A new mobile app, GoSchockers, allows for ticket management for all fans. Plus, WSU athletics has released a new, affordable ticketing model, releasing general admission tickets for as low as $15.

These fan experience upgrades come just months after the Shockers upgraded the arena’s videoboard and installed additional seating.
