Two people contracted Legionnaires' disease from a hot tub at an LA Fitness in Naperville, according to a report by WBBM. The Mayo Clinic website describes Legionnaires' Disease as a severe form of pneumonia cause by a bacterium known as legionella. Legionella is the same bacteria health authorities found in the hot tub at the fitness center on Freedom Drive. The hot tub has since been shut down and will undergo treatment, WBBM reported. |
