Overbrook to play first night game
By Phil Anastasia; Inquirer Staff Writer

The first night football game in Overbrook history will be played under the lights amid a sea of orange.

Overbrook (1-2) will host Haddon Heights (0-3) at 7 p.m. Friday in the first night game in the history of the program, Overbrook athletic director Gary McGaurn said.

The occasion also will be marked by an "Orange Out," as students, faculty, and fans have been encouraged to wear orange shirts to the Colonial Conference game at Larry Mauriello Varsity Football Complex.

"The team is excited, and it seems like the student body and faculty are behind this," McGaurn said. "We have 800 students in our high school, and we sold 700 T-shirts to the students and faculty."

McGaurn said Overbrook has rented portable lights for the game.

In addition, middle school students who attend the game will receive an orange T-shirt, and elementary school students will receive an orange T-shirt and glow stick.
