Life Fitness Adds Sponsorship Support To AFS’ Studio Report

(CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, August 19, 2015) – The Association of Fitness Studios (AFS) proudly announced today the addition of Life Fitness as a sponsor of AFS’ groundbreaking research study, 2015 Fitness Studio Financial Benchmarking Report, to be released in early September.

The 50+ page Report reflects the results of the first-ever financial market research conducted in the rapidly growing and evolving “boutique” studio segment of the fitness industry. The research was conducted by ClubIntel, the leading fitness market research firm.

“We’ve had our eye on the studio market for some time,” said Mike Zinda, Life Fitness’ Vice President Sales, National Accounts. “AFS has rapidly become an influential, integral leader in this area. We want to support their efforts and the market in general.”

The Research Report, for the first time in the studio segment of the fitness industry, defines benchmark numbers and metrics against which studio owners can measure their success, and investors can evaluate the industry.

The study captures data from a critical mass of fitness studios of all types. The results have been tabulated and segmented by a variety of means, including studio discipline, square footage, and geography. Each significant data point is accompanied by appropriate charts or graphs.

Additional distribution will be through AFS allies and associate members.
