American College of Sports Medicine Debuts New 'Translational' Journal

INDIANAPOLIS – The American College of Sports Medicine is pleased to announce the first issue of the Translational Journal of the American College of Sports Medicine (TJACSM)—a new online publication dedicated to translating research evidence into clinical practice in sports medicine and exercise science. The journal is published by Wolters Kluwer.

The first issue of TJACSM was posted today on the journal website. "This new journal will place ACSM in the forefront for translational and policy science related to exercise," commented TJACSMEditor-in-Chief Joseph E. Donnelly, Ed.D., FACSM. Dr. Donnelly is professor of internal medicine and director of the Energy Balance Laboratory and Center for Physical Activity and Weight Management, Cardiovascular Research Institute at The University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
