Sports Turf Managers Association Announces West Palm Beach as Location for 2020 Conference & Exhibition

(LAWRENCE, Kan.) – Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA) – the professional organization for 2,600 men and women managing sports fields worldwide who are critical to the safety of athletes and coaches – today announces Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach, Fla. as the location for its 2020 Conference & Exhibition.

Originally opening in January 2004, the venue boasts 350,000 square feet of meeting space including a 100,000 square-foot exhibit hall, 22,000 square-foot ballroom and 21,000 square feet of breakout space into 19 rooms. This will be ideal for the more than 1,200 attendees and 600-plus exhibitors planning to participate.

Also convening in Florida, STMA will host its 28th annual Conference & Exhibition in Orlando on January 24-27, 2017. Hotel registration is open for interested attendees and potential exhibitors. The 2017 Call for Presentations is closed and a committee is currently reviewing applications.

““West Palm Beach has the ideal convention center size and layout, hotels within walking distance and a rich entertainment district nearby. The weather in January should be a great respite for our attendees from the north, too," says Kim Heck, CEO of STMA. “The Conference & Exhibition continues to be the leading sports turf management industry event in the world, providing a wide variety of educational and networking sessions.”

Registration for the 2017 event will open October 1, 2016. New, national members are eligible for complimentary conference registration.
