Cincinnati, OH, May 5, 2016--Using its Core Momentum TrainerTM, Escape Fitness has partnered with Crunch Gyms to develop the new, ultra-challenging Body Rocket with CMTTM group training workout.
The Core Momentum Trainer (CMT) is the latest innovation in core training using weight and sound to provide instant feedback to change the way athletes and fitness enthusiasts can condition and strengthen their cores for long, lean bodies. The CMT harnesses lubricated, weighted, steel ball bearings that move inside a hollow power core to create both sound and motion forces that must be controlled with the user’s core and surrounding muscles.
The Body Rocket with CMTTM group training classes are cardio and core-focused, set to heart-pumping music and use four key CMT exercises: launch, catch, throw and punch. The audible feedback of the CMT (sound of the weighted ball-bearings moving inside the core) helps users know when they need to work harder to create short, sharp sounds. This same mechanism also allows instructors to give instant feedback to push participants to be more effective. The end result is a group training experience that propels users to their optimum athletic potential and rockets their bodies into long, lean powerhouses. The Body Rocket with CMT sessions were introduced in New York, and have been extended to Crunch Gyms in Los Angeles and Miami.
“Body Rocket with CMT appeals to today’s group training participants who want to increase personal effectiveness based on real-time feedback to push harder and maximize results,” said Matthew Januszek, Customer Solutions Director at Escape Fitness. “People come back to the CMT again and again because in addition to hitting the core in a novel way, it’s highly effective in developing all of the muscles involved to perform each movement. To see it used effectively in a group exercise setting with Crunch is a really good development.”
“At Crunch, we are constantly launching new and innovative fitness classes to keep our members entertained such as this new class called Body Rocket with CMT™,” said Donna Cyrus, SVP of Programming at Crunch. “We take pride in creating our own signature line of classes for all fitness levels and making sure they are fun and motivating. By incorporating the CMT™, members can experience a whole new way to work out.”
