October 6, 2016 – Mark Muhlhauser has joined Populous as the Americas Director of Business Development. He brings to the company nearly 20 years of athletics administration experience and a vast knowledge of the business of collegiate athletics. Mark’s strong foundation in cultivating relationships with University donors will assist in guiding Populous’ approach to the marketplace.

Mark comes to Populous from the University of South Florida, where he managed fundraising and strategic planning for the school’s athletics program as Associate VP of Development and Senior Associate Director of Athletics. Preceding USF, Mark held fundraising and athletics administration roles at Northern Illinois University, Pennsylvania State University, the University of Washington and Ohio University. He holds master’s degrees in Business and Sports Administration from Ohio University and completed his undergrad at the University of Washington. Through his work, Mark consistently increased ticket sales and donor fundraising. As Director of Business Development, he will play a vital role in the presence of Populous at the collegiate level and beyond.
