Portland, OR – Leslie Jordan, Inc. successfully wrapped up 3 days of Expo sales as “Official Merchandise Partner” at the Portland Marathon. The exclusive merchandise program boasted sales of over 100 different items including Outerwear, Sport scarves and Mascots. Thousands of participants roamed through the 1500+sf Expo ‘Pop-up-Shop’ filled with colorful custom merchandise snapping up their favorite souvenir items.
Among this years’ favorites were the Bottle Umbrellas, Spun Fleece Jackets & casual blend shirts. Participants also gravitated toward the 45th Anniversary Shirt with a motif of the iconic St. Johns Bridge that mirrored the 2016 Portland Marathon Poster. With Leslie Jordan Staff artist Paul Valesquez on hand to sign the posters, “It’s no surprise we sold out of this commemorative shirt”, said owner Leslie Jordan. “In fact it was so popular, we are thinking about doing a second printing to sell in the online merchandise store”, she continued.
“We are so pleased and were so excited at this years Merchandise selection. It really adds an extra level of commemoration, especially since this was our 45th Marathon anniversary. In addition to the positive participant comments form store shoppers, my staff absolutely loved some of the newly branded apparel and souvenir items this year” said Race Director, Les Smith. “Leslie Jordan has outdone herself”, Smith continued.
