(November 3, 2016) San Diego, CA — Peter Davis, co-founder of IDEA Health & Fitness Association, announced today the formation of Inspire360, a new software company focused on ClubConnect, the health club-focused platform that powers the education for the world’s top health clubs.
ClubConnect previously operated under the IDEA brand and spun-off into its own company when one of the world’s largest enthusiast media companies, Active Interest Media (AIM), acquired IDEA in October. Under an agreement with AIM, ClubConnect will continue to provide clubs with best-in-class IDEA content, continuing education courses, and certification verification. Ravi Sharma has been promoted to VP of Sales for Inspire360. The rest of the ClubConnect staff and software development team have also been moved to the new company.
The ClubConnect platform launched in 2013 and has grown to 4,500 club locations with clients including LifeTime Fitness, Gold’s Gym, and Anytime Fitness. It is the fastest growing club software platform in the industry and has significantly increased the success of clubs, trainers, and members around the world.

In addition to ClubConnect, Inspire360 also provides CoursePlus, the fitness-focused learning management system (LMS) that is private-labeled to world class education companies such as EXOS, Gray Institute, ACSM, and TRX.
