Creator of Acclaimed Virtual Indoor Cycling Videos Introduces Fitness-Driven Podcast to Inspire Athletes Around the World

SINGAPOREJan. 16, 2017 – Today, The Sufferfest, creator of the world’s most comprehensive training platform for time-crunched endurance athletes, announced the launch of their new fitness-inspired podcast, Everybody Hurts. This is The Sufferfest’s first on-demand audio venture and will be available for download on iTunes and Soundcloud. New shows will air on a bi-weekly basis.

“The sense of community is one of the qualities that makes The Sufferfest special,” said Dylan Robbins, head of marketing for The Sufferfest. “We’re constantly amazed by the stories we hear from Sufferlandrians about their own personal transformations and how they’ve overcome obstacles. We’re excited to share those stories with a wider audience.”

Everybody Hurts will feature interviews with cyclists, athletes, and inspirational figures and explore the idea of what suffering means and how it helps people confront their fears, challenge their limitations and gain a better understanding of themselves.

“Our hope is that the Everybody Hurts podcast will inspire courage,” said David McQuillen, CEO of The Sufferfest. “It doesn’t matter if you’re a professional athlete or someone just looking to make a positive change, everybody hurts, and we all suffer. It’s what you learn through the suffering that matters.”

Launching with three full episodes, the series includes segments with Neil Henderson, founder of APEX Coaching, ex-professional cyclist, filmmaker and co-founder of The Homestretch Foundation, Kathryn Bertine and Richard Bye, founder of plus-size cycling apparel company Fat Lad at the Back. These inaugural episodes showcase the diverse experience of the Sufferlandrian community, providing insight into how each individual confronted adversity and transformed it from an obstacle into an opportunity.

“I’m incredibly excited to be a part of this project,” said Bertine. co-founder of The Homestretch Foundation. “It’s a great way to spotlight the amazing talent we have within the cycling community and for us to share our experiences with the world.”
