BROOKINGS, S.D. – Jan. 24, 2017 – Daktronics Inc. (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, installed a digital video display at Bradford High School’s new football stadium in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Serving Kenosha for more than 100 years, Bradford High recently acquired their first football stadium to call home. Daktronics has a solid presence in the stadium, with a massive video display, sound system and football scoreboard. The video display measures nine feet high by 17 feet wide with a 20-millimeter pixel layout.
“It's a real head turner at our events,” commented Adam Sulko, Bradford’s Athletic Director. “This gives us something to really hold high as something of our own. It’s the icing on the cake to have our own new stadium and the largest high school video display at the same time.”
The excitement was contagious for Daktronics regional sales manager Kyle Sydow. “Working with Bradford High School was a fun project for me. I saw first-hand what this stadium meant to the school and community and I was thrilled to be a part of it. When we powered up the sound system and display, I saw the northside pride as they played video after video and witnessed the impression these displays have on a community."
The new football stadium seats 3,100 people and opened fall 2016.
