Legend’s innovative cloud-based single solution software system replaces the City’s incumbent CLASS software, which is reaching its end-of-life. The Legend solution will benefit residents and users of the City’s recreation programs with faster access during peak registration periods, online booking functionality and a consistent user experience across multiple devices.
Following a rigorous, competitive tender process, Legend was selected for its proven capabilities in streamlining recreation businesses and ensuring that organizations gain both greater value from the data and information within their business systems, whilst significantly enhancing the customer experience.

Legend’s flagship business intelligence reporting will allow the City to understand customer needs and deliver their recreation services more effectively. The project is currently in planning and implementation phase, with testing scheduled for the coming months. The City of Ottawa is expecting to go live with Legend in early 2018.
