Rice Lake, Wis.—Rice Lake will showcase state-of-the-art medical and fitness scales at the Florida International Medical Expo (FIME) August 8-10, 2017. FIME takes place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida and hosts 22,000 healthcare professionals that visit 1,500 vendors from around the globe. Visitors to booth B.G56 will be able to view Rice Lake patient and fitness scales for the healthcare industry. Rice Lake’s customer service team includes bilingual Spanish and English speakers who will present demonstrations and talk to visitors at this multi-cultural event.
Featured at booth B.G56 is the RL-MPS. This mechanical physician scale has superior durability and relevance for repetitive use in a majority of clinical settings. It is slip-resistant, demands little space and has rear wheels for portability. This scale also displays pound and kilogram dual-read units of measure.
The RL-DBS digital baby scale is equipped with Motiontrap® movement compensation technology for active pediatric patients. Rice Lake’s OS on-site hanging scale is ergonomically designed as an alternative mode of patient weighing. Another option for pediatric patient weighing is the D400 digital scale that allows a child to be held by an adult during weighment.
Rice Lake will also feature its body composition analyzers (BCA) for use with bariatric patients or in fitness centers. BCAs are effective tools for healthcare practitioners to store and track segmental body analysis and other client health data. Rice Lake BCAs are fully digitized and have ports for computer interfacing.
