Hilton Head Island, SC — Professional Tennis Registry is thrilled to announce it’s celebrating a major milestone today, welcoming its 10,000th member in the United States! This brings PTR’s global reach to more than 16,000 members worldwide.
PTR membership in the USA has increased every year for an unprecedented 32 years. Certifying more coaches helps grow the game, which is great news for the tennis industry. PTR’s worlswide growth is going to continue, thanks to recent partnerships with the Mexican Tennis Federation and the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy, plus additional agreements in the near future.
"When you provide quality education leading to certification, plus outstanding member services/benefits – membership growth follows,” said PTR CEO Dan Santorum. “Reaching 10,000 members in the USA, one-third of whom are coaches of color, is a tremendous source of pride for PTR.”
PTR is the largest global organization of tennis teaching professionals with more than 16,000 members in 125 countries. It has the greatest percentage of multicultural and women members of any such organization. PTR is dedicated to educating, certifying and serving tennis teachers and coaches around the world in order to grow the game.
