Hilton Head Island, SC — PTR Foundation, the charitable arm of Professional Tennis Registry, is pleased to announce that Ajay Pant, of Chaska, Minnesota, has been appointed to serve on the PTRF Board of Directors.
A PTR International Master Professional, who has been a member of the organization for more than 27 years, Pant served as Secretary on the PTR Board of Directors until his term expired in 2017.
As the National Tennis Director for Life Time, Pant oversees 28 Life Time tennis clubs and 300 coaches across the United States. Prior to joining Life Time, he was Senior Vice President Operations for the Junior Tennis Champions Center (JTCC), in Maryland and JTCC satellite operations in Florida and Connecticut. He was also the National Tennis Director for Tennis Corporation of America (TCA)/Midtown clubs. He served two terms as Chair for the USTA National 10 and Under Committee. Currently an ambassador for USTA’s Net Generation initiative, Pant also serves on USTA’s Junior Competition National Committee. Tennis Industry Magazine named Pant its Tennis Person of the Year for 2017, and earlier this year, he received the PTR/TIA Commitment to the Industry Award.
