November 15, 2018 — United States Patent and Trade Office (USPTO) has published the patent application for the G-MAX machine. G-Max is a series of novel exercise machines focused on working out and improving strength for the gluteus muscles.
The original patent application for G-Max was filed on May 20, 2017, and includes four versions of the GMAX:
1. Select drive
2. Plate loaded
3. Tension band
4. Portable/convertible home unit
This action is the result of a thorough search by the USTPO for like inventions/products for which patent applications were previously filed. This notice of publication reveals the USPTO has discovered no prior art as part of an earlier applications similar to the GMAX machines as described.
In recent months the market has seen a few ‘glute-drive’ type machines, none of which are identified as patent pending. “Given this news from the USPTO, I am confident, G-Max is tracking to being awarded the four G-Max products included in the patent application,” states Michael E. Kordecki, inventor.
“We introduced the GMAX to the Chicago market at Club Industry Trade show in October 2017. Since then we have placed over 20 G-Max units in various health clubs throughout Chicagoland,” stated Tim Green, owner Direct Fitness Solutions, Mundelein, IL. In addition, The Andrews Institute for Sports Medicine, University of Alabama and New York Yankees training facilities have added the G-Max to their weight rooms.
“This is an important acknowledgement from the USPTO as we set up our strategic marketing and manufacturing programs for G-Max. To know our product is patent-able, puts us in a strong position to protect our intellectual property, control sources of manufacturing, quality and inventory management, allowing us to provide this necessary piece of equipment to training, rehab and work-out facilities,” commented Kordecki.
Currently, the select drive G-Max product is available for delivery, through Direct Fitness Solutions and is being manufactured by Dynamic Fitness, Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA. https://mydynamicfitness.com/products/g-max-gluteus-maximizer
