Global wellness brand to provide world class golf sports connected performance equipment and solutions
NEW YORK, NY – JANUARY 21, 2020– TECHNOGYM, the leading producer of design and technology-driven wellness and fitness equipment and solutions, today announced a new partnership with PGA Tour golfer Scott Stallings. Stallings has been on the PGA Tour since 2011 and has three tour wins. He will use Technogym golf performance equipment to train for the tour in his home gym. Technogym is the Official Supplier of the PGA TOUR Player Performance Centers making this new partnership a natural fit.
“Technogym has been training champions for the past 30 years, including our legacy as the official equipment supplier to the past seven Olympic Games,” said Nerio Alessandri, President and Founder of Technogym. “We are very proud to have been chosen personally by Scott Stallings to provide world class sports performance equipment and solutions to further his training. This partnership represents a strong validation of our ongoing investment in R&D for our products, innovation and quality standards serving the world’s top performing athletes.”
SKILLRUN will allow Stallings to perform traditional cardiovascular training and instantly transition to lower body power training. The Biofeedback feature provides real time feedback on his running efficiency to maximize results and minimize lower body overuse injuries. Sled pushing allows for lower body power development without the need for high risk exercises while simultaneously creating core activation. Additionally, there is an extreme incline feature allowing training on a wide range of inclines. This helps with lower body strength and power development, while increasing the cardiovascular demand, and training up to a -3% decline simulating the downhill undulations he will face on the course.
SKILLTOOLS are a variety of performance tools that create a wide range of training modalities for players, for total body mobility, stability, and power development within their workouts, before a round of golf, or for recovery after a round of golf.
“Technogym has been my wellness brand of choice for years,” Stallings said. “ Competing weekly on the PGA Tour, I need to consistently be at my best. I have always loved the capabilities of Technogym equipment and I am excited to partner with such an innovative brand.”
Technogym, which has been the official fitness equipment supplier for the past seven Olympic Games, is globally recognized as the reference brand for elite athletes and world-class fitness facilities.
