SAN FRANCISCO (August 24, 2020) – TRX, the global leader in functional training equipment, education and technology, today announced a partnership with Aaptiv – the world’s leading digital wellness product – to provide members access to video-based TRX workouts. As consumers continue navigating the closure of gyms and fitness facilities, TRX and Aaptiv are further revolutionizing the world of on-the-go and remote training by offering a wide breadth of TRX’s Suspension Training® and Functional Training video content that’s easily accessible, efficient and puts consumers health and wellness in the palm of their hands.
Aaptiv’s hundreds of thousands of members make it the most popular wellness product on the market and will now offer users exposure to TRX’s world-class programming and preeminent training solutions. The partnership with TRX allows Aaptiv members to combine the efficacy of TRX’s training methodologies with the simplicity, efficiency and extensive benefits of the TRX Suspension Trainer™ and Functional Training Tools.
“Our mission at TRX is to support the global fitness eco-system and the fitness professionals who drive it while becoming broadly accessible to all consumers,” said Nasario Mejia, VP & GM of Experiences at TRX. “The Aaptiv partnership supports this goal by combining our leadership in programming and fitness products with Aaptiv’s prominent and broad-reaching workout platform. Through this we can offer consumers a portable, multimodal, and complete workout from anywhere, at any time.”
Aaptiv will include TRX workouts targeting different areas of the body with varying durations to meet the needs of all fitness levels. The TRX-specific workouts will include “Core Strength,” “Lower Body,” “Upper Body,” and “Full Body” in 10-, 20- and 30-minute classes. Also featured are two set up and use videos. Each class will be led by one of TRX’s world-class trainers, including Marc Coronel, Louis Lopez, and Kim Glass.
“Aaptiv has always been focused on providing a comprehensive wellness solution to our user base so adding video content from TRX is a great opportunity to increase the scope of our app offering,” said Ethan Agarwal, CEO and founder of Aaptiv. “TRX is the global leader in functional training, and we are excited to offer their programming to our members around the world.”
This year alone, Aaptiv has added nearly 500 classes within categories such as sleep and heart rate zone-based training. With the addition of TRX, Aaptiv will continue to be a leader in supporting fitness and health conscious consumers wanting access to a comprehensive library of fitness content.
