Texas Youth Football & Cheer Association Require HitCheck Baseline Testing for All Athletes to Return to Play

SAN ANTONIO – September 18, 2020 – Texas Youth Football & Cheer Association (TYFA) announced today, on National Concussion Awareness Day, that HitCheck, a mobile cognitive assessment tool that allows clinicians and trainers to baseline and assess athletes at anytime from anywhere, will be required for each player prior to beginning their season. HitCheck allows for the association to track individuals’ unique performance and screen for changes after a potential brain injury that may require additional medical attention.
