COON RAPIDS, Minn. – June 15, 2021 – As global demand increases for its innovative functional and strength training products, Torque Fitness has named seasoned fitness industry veteran Leo Schreuders its vice president of sales for Europe. With more than 26 years in the international fitness and sporting goods industry, Schreuders is leading the expansion of Torque’s business throughout the European region.
COON RAPIDS, Minn. – June 15, 2021 – As global demand increases for its innovative functional and strength training products, Torque Fitness has named seasoned fitness industry veteran Leo Schreuders its vice president of sales for Europe. With more than 26 years in the international fitness and sporting goods industry, Schreuders is leading the expansion of Torque’s business throughout the European region.

Most recently, Schreuders spent almost 16 years as the Managing Director of Octane Fitness International B.V., heading all aspects of the company’s business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In that role, he founded Octane Fitness International an Octane Fitness UK Ltd., established distribution channels and direct sales throughout the region and oversaw day-to-day operations in the EMEA office.
Previously, Schreuders spent a decade at Life Fitness Atlantic B.V. in The Netherlands as sales and marketing director for EMEA, where he grew sales tenfold. Prior to that, he was the European area manager for Scatch International B.V., The Netherlands, a sportgame company, where he established exclusive agency agreements in European territories accounting for more than $15 million and handled all key accounts in Germany and France.
Schreuders began his career and spent seven years working for several tennis and sporting goods companies and retailers in The Netherlands developing distribution, sales, promotions and scholarships.
